I chose to do a title sequence from the popular TV show American horror story. This is in particular the one from the first season, murder house. This is a very effective title sequence because the music used works well as it builds up bit by bit and it’s very abrupt and sharp. It matches the movement of the shots, for example there will be a long pan shot of a basement then in time with the music you will see a quick shot of fire burning a photograph. The font of the titles is used throughout the TV show and it’s very recognizable and it gives an American old school style to it.  Throughout the sequence lots of flashes appear and the whole thing has a sepia old film camera tint to it which makes it feel creepier and like someone has just filmed it on their old video tape recorder.
